Domestic Violence Treatment

This program is approved by Colorado’s Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB).¬† These professionals work follow the DVOMB standards and best practices offering Domestic Violence Evaluations, individualized treatment plans, group therapy, monthly staff meetings, treatment plan reviews.¬† The group therapy combines Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, Motivational Interviewing/Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy for gender/orientation specific individuals.

Domestic Violence treatment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Education about domestic violence such as the cycle of violence, impact awareness on victims, children and the community, childhood/life abuse patterns, intimate relationship patterns
  • Skill development in anger control, impulse control, stress management, communication, social skills, healthy relationships, and emotional control
